One of our first steps as team Torque was awareness- we wanted to spread the word and let as many people know about our initiative as possible. We wanted to encourage discussion on these issues and bring the problem to light before coming to the solutions themselves. With this in mind, we planned to visit as many schools as possible to get students to learn about Rescrapped and volunteer with our programme. However, due the the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we weren't able to meet our desired expectations. We held our programmes at 2 schools- our own and another, Winchester School in Dubai.
